What is visible, when values can be used, and what to check before comparing datasets.

What the catalog makes public

Names, versions, scope, sources, and quality information can be browsed without an account. Inputs, outputs, and LCIA results appear only when they have been published for public use.

Check comparability before results

If functional unit, reference flow, method, geography, time, or system boundary do not align, the Portal compares descriptive information only.

Missing facts stay missing

The Portal does not fill gaps, invent dataset groups, or present an AI suggestion as source data.

Withdrawals and updates

Withdrawn or restricted content stops appearing. Versioned links and public releases update independently.
